What Would You Do? Dinner at the Donovans'
Please join us on Saturday, December 19th, 6:30 p.m., at Kristie and Bill Donovan's house for an ingredient mash-up.
The weekend before, Saturday the 12th, I will deliver two ingredients to your home (I'll leave them by the door if you're not there). You'll have one week to decide on an entree or side dish to make with those ingredients. You may add other ingredients of course, but you have to use more than a dab of the delivered ingredients. Everyone gets the same two ingredients so we'll see who comes up with what. Its fun to see the array of dishes that different people come up with using the same ingredients to start. Be creative and think outside the box. Think of what someone else might do with these ingredients and then do something totally different.
Kristie and I will provide appetizers and dessert so all you have to do at this busy time of year is prepare one dish. Please bring your own booze/beverage.
Note: I will collect the money that night for the price of the ingredients.
Also, the hosts would like to do a gift exchange game. Please bring a $20ish item, wrapped with no tag, per person, not per couple. The gift could be chosen or stolen by anyone so a gender neutral gift is requested.
So get those creative juices flowing and make your delicious dish so we can all make Merry!
