Cooking for Kisses at Joanna and Chris'
So fellow Cooking Club members, its February…are you ready for romance? This month we’ll give biochemistry a jump start by making recipes using aphrodisiac ingredients in our dishes. You’d be surprised what some ingredients will do to stimulate endorphins, which just may lead to an amorous rendezvous with your special someone.
Tempt your palette and arouse your senses with one or more of the following, scientifically proven ;) ingredients: oysters, chili peppers, avocado, chocolate, bananas, honey, coffee, watermelon, pine nuts, arugula, olive oil, figs, strawberries, artichokes, chai tea, pomegranate, cherries, pumpkin seeds, and of course, whipped cream J Who knew romance was just a cherry pie away! Google or Pinterest ideas and recipes or come up with your own stimulating concoction ;)
And to make it even more fun, Joanna has decided to make a game out of it! Did you see that? We know by now that we all love a challenge :) Points will be awarded for the number of aphrodisiac ingredients used in your dish, a creative name for your dish to fit the theme, and an appropriately shaped dish to go along with the theme (use your imagination) ;). The winner will be awarded a prize, yes! a prize!
