Dog Time/Hiking at Baxter Preserve

Welcome to Ridgefield Newcomers Club Dog Time. 

Dogs need to make new friends too and once in a while the owners get to grab a coffee and go on a nice walk  in beautiful locations  in and around Ridgefield. There are lots of wonderful places to explore with our dogs in the area.  

 Brodie loves Baxter Preserve in North Salem. It is also open to horses after 9am and they ask that dogs be leashed but if we don't see a horse in sight Brodie is free to run.

Baxter preserve is located off of Baxter Road in North Salem. Take 116/North Salem Road past the high school into Ny. Turn Left on to 116/121/Titicus Road and just before Union Hall General Store, turn Right on to Baxter. Parking is across from 67 Baxter Road and we will meet near the horse gate.
