Please join me with your faithful companion in a fall walk around Weir farm.  The address to Weir Farm is 735 Nod Hill Road in Wilton.

Weir Farm National Historic Site is located in Ridgefield and Wilton, Connecticut. It commemorates the life and work of American impressionist painter J. Alden Weir and other artists who stayed at the site or lived there, to include Childe Hassam, Albert Pinkham Ryder, John Singer Sargent, and John Twachtman.

Going to the Dogs

Bush, an 1882 oil painting by J. Alden Weir depicting his dog, an English setter named Bush is currently on loan from Weir's grandson, Charlie Burlingham, president of Weir Farm Art Center.  The painting is on display at the Weir House through October 31.  After we enjoy our walk around Weir Farm please join me taking the opportunity to view the oil painting.
