For the first get together  I can offer you to explore Georgian culture and cuisine, which is very popular and well known in Eastern Europe and is considered the most flavorful and delicious among the cuisines of post  Soviet union countries. Why Georgian? Well, I’m Georgian and no one can present my country’s flavors better than me.  Though, it will be interesting for anyone to try to prepare those dishes. I picked simple, though tasty and delicious ones for the menu.

For appetizers:

There is no Georgian feast without roasted eggplant rolls stuffed with walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds.

Or oven roasted mushrooms stuffed with sulguni cheese (we can substitute with mozzarella)

It might be quite a challenge, but a lot of fun to prepare Georgian dumplings called Khinkali together. Be prepared to have couple of shots of chacha (Georgian house made vodka).

For desert, I’ll serve Ideali , which is made of honey, toasted walnuts and condensed milk.

Hopefully, you’ll learn a lot of new things about the culture and the cuisine of my country and most of all, enjoy the food and each other’s company.
