For this cooking evening I'm thinking to explore French cuisine, which is famous and respectful all over the world.
For starter I would suggest steamy and aromatic French onion or pumpkin soup with crusty baguette piece on the side.
For the main course flavorful and hearty beef bourguignone or cassoulet with pork and smoked sausage.
For desert chocolate mousse or oven baked apples with cinnamon and walnuts will complement those great dishes.
And of course, we can make plenty of different canapés, quiche Loraine or quiche de jour with spinach and bacon or any other variations of your choice.
Hm, my mouth is watering already and as the author of Mastering the art of French cooking Julia Child would say, “Bon Appetite!”
