Rajun’ Cajun
Happy almost Spring! Let’s forget about winter and turn up the heat with some Cajun spice!
Please join us in the Big Easy (Kate Hartford’s house) on Saturday, March 19th, at 6:30 for an evening of lip smackin’ Louisiana legacies. Possibilities are: Jambalaya, Gumbo, File’ Gumbo, Boudin, Andouille, Alligator, Crawfish, Etouffee, Muffaletta, Beignets, and that’s just a few ideas to get the juices flowing. There are endless recipes to choose from, or put your own spin on a Southern classic, Louisiana/New Orleans classic that is. You could also look up some of New Orleans famous eateries like Commander’s Palace, Antoine’s, Brennan’s, Café Du Monde, Dooky Chase, Broussard’s, to name a few, and copy-cat their famous dishes…just a thought.
So let’s get out of this cold and into the French Quarter and see how we Yankees can rock some Southern cooking.
Also, byob.
