Hiking - Lake Windwing, Hemlock Hills and Pine Mountain

Join us for a beautiful mid-October hike through Hemlock Hills up to the vista where Charles Ives' cabin use to sit on Pine Mountain, Ridgefield's highest point.  On a clear day you can see the Long Island Sound.  

We will meet at the ball fields off of South Shore Drive and walk along the shore of Lake Windwing and into Hemlock Hills. From there we will meet the Ives trail and hike up Pine Mountain. It will take at least a couple of hours and will include some moderately strenuous hiking up hill. Make sure to pack food and water and to dress appropriately for the weather. 

Dogs and children are welcome to join in the fun.
