Family Fun - Pumpkin Carving

Come join us for pumpkin carving at Earthplace: The Nature Discovery Center located in Westport, CT on Saturday, October 29th at 1 p.m. 

Carving a Jack-O-Lantern is really fun but can be very messy. Keep your kitchen from becoming a slippery, orange, nightmare by carving the pumpkin at Earthplace.  They have smocks, tools, paint and decorations to help you make a really spectacular display for Halloween.  Enjoy some cider and cookies to give you energy. Bring your own pumpkins and candles.  They have the rest!  

The cost is $10 per child.

After carving pumpkins, you can take a walk on the 62-acre property and hunt for letterboxes along the trails.  Also, examine the beautiful Connecticut wall of nature, and visit a garden designed to attract birds and butterflies.  In addition, there are picnic tables, a swing set, a children’s playground, rest rooms, snack machine, and gift shop.  (There may be an additional charge for admittance to discovery center).  For more information visit
