It's the perfect weather for a hike, especially one with a nice view. This hike in Macedonia park in Kent goes up Cobble Mountain for a spectacular view. Although the climb isn't terribly long, it does get steep and there is one good rock scramble. Good soled shoes or hiking boots are a must.
The park is about an hour's drive from Ridgefield. You'll enter via Macedonia Brook Road - after the road becomes dirt, keep driving past the ranger station on your left and continue to the big pavillion on your right. There is a parking area by the pavillion where we will meet at 10:00. The hike will take one and a half to two hours.
If you are running late, get lost, or need to cancel, please text Kristen at (203)297-2827.
