While the trails are covered with snow, how about a walk in scenic North Salem instead? Baxter Road is a dirt (but plowed) road that roams past a lovely horse farm and open fields. It is open to traffic but usually pretty quiet so it's a great place for a group hike and we can stop in at the cafe for a hot drink afterward.

We will meet at 10:00 at the Market at Union Hall in North Salem.  The address is 2 Keeler Lane, but the entrance to the parking area is right on Rte. 116 just before Keeler Lane.
