Susan has been teaching this for over 15 years and it’s part of her practice as an Alexander Technique teacher and OT.
The class involves going through the progression of lying down, rolling, sitting, crawling, bending and standing that everyone experiences from birth to about age one and a half. These movements decrease pain and tension and improve strength and flexibility in a return to natural and balanced movement patterns.
She has taught movement courses for actors at New World School of the Arts, Florida International University, University of Nevada Reno and West Valley College, in addition to many other schools and organizations. She has presented her developmental movement and reflex integration approaches to pediatric occupational therapy clinics and dance communities.
