Mountain Laurel Hike-Joan and Monroe trail

Dear Neighbors and Newcomers we're offering a last minute hiking activity for those interested in seeing the Mountain Laurel blooms.
 The Mountain Laurel blooms once a year and they are gorgeous. This rugged 4 plus mile hike features so
many blooms!  

 The hike is on the Joan and Duncan Monroe trail. The trail is a tad overgrown. Please consider wearing long pants, hiking boots and bring poles if you have them. 

We will meet at the CVS parking lot - 720 Branchville Rd at the intersection of Branchville and Route 7 at 10 am. We will carpool to the start of the hike at the Joan Munroe trail. It’s five minutes away, but has limited parking. We should be back at CVS around 12.30-1. Looking forward to the hike!
